How do you share and gift FT articles?

You can share FT articles with anyone. Social sharing options for Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn are available on the article page in your browser, while the FT app has a share button at the top of each article.

FT subscribers can share unlimited articles with other subscribers and gift up to 20 articles per month to non-subscribers. To gift an article, create a gift link:

1. Open the article.
2. Click the share icon (on the left panel in a browser or at the top of the page in the app).
3. In the pop-up, choose ‘Share with anyone’ and select ‘Create a gift link’.
4. Copy and share the link.

Gift link details:

• Standard subscribers get 10 gift credits per month; Premium subscribers get 20.
• Each link can be opened three times and is valid for 90 days.
• A credit is used each time a link is opened.

To share an article with another FT subscriber, follow the same steps but select ‘FT subscribers only’ instead. These links do not use any gift credits.
