How do I know how many users I can have on my Group licence and can I see how many users are currently on my licence?

The total seat allocation for your licence is displayed at the top of the Manage Users page. This shows how many free seats you have and how many you have used. If you have used all of your total seat allocation and want to add additional users, you will need to contact your customer relationship manager to change your total seat allocation.
